Meet The Genius
Dr. David Greene, MD, PhD, MBA (Host, Founder & CEO at R3 Stem Cell)
Coming from an Ivy League-trained orthopedic surgery background, R3 Stem Cell Founder and CEO David Greene, MD, PhD, MBA, has led R3 to become the world’s largest provider of regenerative therapies. After transitioning to the business side of medicine to make a larger societal impact, he subsequently earned his PhD in stem cell biology in 2020. Today, with over 80 Centers of Excellence operating in 8 countries, no other company has come close to achieving R3’s rigorous quality standards, volume of stem cell treatments, exceptional clinical outcomes, and global affordability.
With over 28,000 stem cell procedures performed since the company’s inception, Dr. Greene remains fiercely dedicated to patient access. “My goal from the beginning was to bring the cost of stem cell treatment down considerably. I’m not interested in treating just the 1%, and R3’s business model has allowed us to do that by becoming the Working Man’s stem cell clinic!”
Recognizing the critical need for safety and consistency on a global scale, he added, “I noticed that as we entered more and more countries, our scientific team needed to standardize our biologics quality standards. Some countries don’t have the regulatory standards equivalent to the USA FDA, so we decided to achieve those requirements in every country where we operate. Serving as the President of R3 Stem Cell, Samantha Brechner is the operational driving force behind the company’s massive global expansion and its unwavering commitment to the patient experience. Described by Dr. Greene as “the BEST addition ever to the company”, Samantha brings a formidable blend of executive leadership, strategic scaling, and healthcare management expertise to the table.
As the Co-Host of Stem Cell Genius, Samantha sits in the patient’s seat. She pushes past the heavy scientific jargon to ask the hard, practical questions people actually care about. As President of R3, she brings that same patient-first mindset to the company’s global operations. She is the one making sure that R3 doesn’t just talk about providing affordable, world-class stem cell therapy, but actually delivers it consistently at every single clinic they operate.
